"Maple Syrup Season Begins" a PRINT by Deborah Gregg

A dense, icy fog shrouds the dark maple grove as everyone begins the morning's work. The sap is running! Winter is letting go, but insists on a few snowflakes drifting down for effect. And even though it's gloomy in the woods, the lanterns are lit, the cocoa is on the wagon, and everyone is in good spirits -- even old Nan, who takes her job (keeping an eye on the little one) so seriously. Just the crows are a bit put out by the early morning disturbance. Ahhh, spring. You can almost taste the warm maple syrup already! ♡

“A sap-run is the sweet good-bye of winter. It is the fruit of the equal marriage of the sun and frost.” ~John Burroughs, Signs and Seasons, 1886

This is an archival quality photographic PRINT with a luster finish (has a slight sheen but is not high gloss) on Kodak Endura Professional photo paper. It measures approximately 7"x 9". Copyright on digital image only, not on actual print. Best matted and framed, not included. Have an amazing day. ♡
